ODLC-45/65 Series General Introduction

Soon after two flicker free design indoor LED drivers, the IDLC family (plastic housing type) and the IDPC family (PCB board type) are released to the market, MEAN WELL keeps working on enlarging the product line of flicker free function and is pleased to unveil the new ODLC family (cable type) ~ ODLC-45(45W)/65(65W) series.

This product is the co-design work with IDLC and IDPC family— they all adopt constant current output mode, equipped with built-in active PFC function, offer the same electrical specifications for models with identical output wattage, operate with the up to 86% highest working efficiency and comply with UL8750, ENEC EN61347-1,-2-13 and GB19510.1, .14 international safety regulations of LED lighting. The standard product has a built-in 2 in 1 dimming function (the models with12V/50mA auxiliary output are also offered) that give LED luminaire system designers higher flexibility while planning the layout. This product is very suitable to be applied to the indoor LED luminaires requiring flicker free and low power consumption, such as LED panel lighting and LED flood lighting.

    ODLC-45 LED Driver Description

    ODLC-45 series is a 45W LED AC/DC driver featuring the constant current mode output with flicker free design.ODLC-45 operates from 90-295VAC and offers models with different rated current ranging between 350mA and 1400mA. Thanks to the efficiency up to 86%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -20℃-+85℃ case temperature under free convection. The design of plastic housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit indoor wet applications. ODLC-45 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for lighting system.

    NOTE All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25? of ambient temperature. Please refer to “DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE”. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details. Length of set up time is measured at cold first start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time. There is no design of short circuit protection for the Auxiliary DC output; this function can not be used when dimming input terminals(DIM+,DIM-) are short circuit or when it is no load or short circuit at output(Vo+,Vo-). The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again.

    ODLC-65 Description

    ODLC-65 series is a 65W LED AC/DC driver featuring the constant current mode output with flicker free design. ODLC-65 operates from 180-295VAC and offers models with different rated current ranging between 700mA and 1750mA. Thanks to the efficiency up to 88%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -20℃-+85℃ case temperature under free convection. The design of plastic housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit indoor wet applications. ODLC-65 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for lighting system.
